Editorial policy
Stellar Outdoor Living aims to make clear, careful writing about outdoor spaces. We explain the basis and limits of what we say, and revise the record when a correction is warranted.
Accuracy and scope
We check names, descriptions and factual statements before publication, and take care to distinguish general ideas from advice that depends on a particular home, product or place. Our articles are for general readers, not a substitute for specialist assessment where a project calls for it.
Independence and labelling
Editorial decisions are made for readers, not as a favour to a maker or partner. Material created with a partner, or supported by one, is identified clearly so readers can tell when commercial involvement is present. Partner placements are labelled where they appear.
Corrections
If a reader spots an error, we welcome a message through the Contact page. We review the detail and correct material when needed, taking care that the revised wording does not leave a misleading impression.
Illustrations
Some illustrations may be generated with AI. Illustrations are used to help convey an idea, not as evidence that a particular space, object or project exists.
A little outdoor space can have a full life
We look at the details that help patios, balconies and courtyards suit the people who use them, in fair weather and otherwise.
